The Bridge Family Practice & Skin Clinic is looking for an experienced 2IC Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical practice. This is a rare vacancy at our highly popular medical practice and with an already established team of skilled receptionists, we are looking for someone who can continue to provide that leadership support whilst maintaining and contributing to our friendly, positive working environment.

Position Overview:

This position is for a 2IC role to the Practice Manager.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Attend to patients both on the phone and in person in a caring and supportive manner

- Liaise with GP's, other health professionals and their staff

- Type documents as required

- Coordinate and organise appointments and other documentation as required

- Provide support to the practice manager as needed

- Assistance with staff rosters and general ordering

- Contribute and promote a continued positive working environment

- Assist with ongoing and regular Accreditation activities





- Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures

- Implement systems to improve the work flow and general duties of the front desk staff

- Handle daily billing tasks including Medicare batching and outstanding accounts

Required Skills:

- Minimum of 2 years GP Medical Reception Experience (essential)

- Best Practice Software experience desirable

- Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team workplace

- Self-Driven and can demonstrate a genuine pride in all work produced

- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people

- Ability to effectively handle difficult situations

- Excellent interpersonal skills
