Bar & Front of House Supervisor

Big Rock Brewing is a family-owned, independent brewery in Rockhampton and we're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hands-on Bar & Front of House Supervisor to join our growing team.

With the launch of our new smokehouse just around the corner, we're entering an exciting recent chapter and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

This isn't just another hospitality job. Initially, you'll work alongside the owners, learning how we operate while taking responsibility for opening and closing the venue, leading shifts and ensuring every guest enjoys the friendly, welcoming atmosphere Big Rock Brewing is known for.

About the Role

As our Bar & Front of House Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:

- Opening and closing the venue

- Leading and supporting our front-of-house team during service

- Delivering exceptional customer service

- Cash handling and end-of-day reconciliations

- Maintaining presentation and cleanliness standards

- Ensuring RSA and liquor licensing compliance

- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally

- Working closely with the owners to help the business continue to grow

About You





You'll be someone who:

- Has previous hospitality experience

- Has leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)

- Holds a current RSA

- Is organised, reliable and takes initiative

- Enjoys working with people and leading by example

- Can remain calm in a busy environment

- Is available to work evenings and weekends

This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional ready to take the next step into leadership.
