ABOUT THE TEAM
You'll join a highly regarded boutique commercial practice working directly with a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation and an experienced Senior Associate.

The team works collaboratively across advisory and disputes, with lawyers encouraged to understand their clients' businesses, not just their legal issues. You'll enjoy direct mentoring, meaningful responsibility and exposure to sophisticated commercial work from day one.

THE WORK
Unlike many firms where lawyers are siloed into either front-end or back-end work, this role offers a genuine mix of Corporate Advisory and Commercial Litigation, including:

- Corporate and commercial advisory
- Business transactions and restructures
- Commercial contracts




- Shareholder agreements and disputes
- Commercial litigation and dispute resolution
- Funding and finance arrangements
- Property structuring
- Trust advisory
- Mining and resources matters

You'll advise an established client base ranging from entrepreneurial businesses and family groups through to ASX-listed companies and multinational organisations operating across construction, mining, transport, property, technology and professional services.

More importantly, you'll build long-term client relationships and become a trusted adviser rather than simply working file to file.

Very few private practice firms can genuinely offer lawyers the opportunity to experience life as in-house counsel without leaving private practice.

Once established within the firm, you'll have the opportunity to undertake client secondments across a range of industries while remaining employed by the firm.

Current secondments include organisations within:

- Mining
- Construction
- Property
- Ports
- Corporate organisations

These placements provide invaluable commercial experience, greater client exposure and a deeper understanding of how legal advice influences real business decisions,

WHO IS SUITABLE?
