About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pharmacy Intern to join our team at our North Caringbah location. This is a full-time internship, ideally starting in December/ January concluding once supervised hours have been achieved.
No weekend hours, four day week 8-6pm.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting pharmacists with the dispensing of medications, including receipt and accuracy checking.
- Vaccinations.
- Supporting full scope of practice services.
- Assisting with patient consultations.
- Contributing to the maintenance of a clean, safe and organised pharmacy environment- POS ordering and stock control.
- Deliveries - drivers licence essential.
What we're looking for
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (or equivalent accredited pharmacy programme)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks
- Basic numeracy and IT skills
- A genuine interest in pharmacy practice and patient care
