An exciting chance exists for an experienced Polywelder to join a well-established Australian business with more than 40 years of supplying innovative solutions to the water, mining, civil, agriculture and infrastructure sectors.
Working in a modern workshop with state-of-the-art plastic welding equipment, you'll fabricate high-quality polyethylene (PE) spools and assemblies for a diverse range of projects. This is more than just a workshop role—you'll have the autonomy to take ownership, drive efficiencies and help shape the workshop as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Poly welder (extrusion / electro-fusion welding with flanges / valves and fittings).
- Operate and maintain plastic welding technology.
- Autonomous worker able to work with limited supervision
- Accurately complete job and time records.
- Maintain equipment and uphold a strong safety culture by following WHS procedures and reporting hazards.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in poly welding or equivalent fabrication experience
- Certificate in Electro Fusion & Extrusion welding (Certificate III in plastics fabrication, or equivalent) – desirable
- Experience with a variety of plastics (HDPE, PP, PVC)
- Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused with a positive attitude.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Forklift or EWP license desirable.
- Current driver's license
