AI & Automation Implementation Lead

JAE CORP Group is a vertically integrated construction and property group scaling fast — seven trading businesses across roofing, excavation, bricks, scaffolding and construction, run out of one head office. We are mid-build on a full AI and automation layer across the group: agent systems, live dashboards, and a real-time view of every business unit's numbers. We need someone in-house to own it, not a consultant who shows up occasionally.

THE ROLE

You'll sit at head office working directly with the Director, CFO, and CEO. Your job is to take AI and automation from 'in progress' to 'running the business.' You'll own the build, the data connections, and the rollout to every team across the group — that means working hands-on with the Marketing Manager, supervisors, the admin team, and accounts, not just head office. This is a hands-on execution seat, not a strategy seat. This is a full-time, in-office role based at Clyde North — you need to be on the floor with the teams you're building for.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

● Build and maintain the group's AI agent architecture across finance, operations, admin, and estimating functions

● Connect and automate data flows between AroFlo (our CRM), Xero (accounting), and the group's internal systems

● Build and maintain live dashboards for group P&L;, pipeline, and per-supervisor performance tracking





● Turn manual admin processes into automated workflows — you will personally recover hours of team time every week

● Automate customer reach-out for new leads, quote follow-up, and status updates through the job lifecycle

● Build systems to capture and act on customer feedback — surfacing what's working and what's costing us jobs

● Work with each business unit lead to identify what should be automated next, and just build it

● Support our marketing function with AI rollouts — content creation and editing, scaling output across socials, lead tracking and communications, and performance/view analysis across campaigns

● Bring your own ideas — this role has real license to brainstorm and pitch what the group should be doing with AI, not just execute a backlog

● Own data accuracy and system reliability — if a number is wrong, that's your problem to find and fix

WHAT YOU BRING

● Strong, hands-on experience with AI tools and implementation — you've actually built things, not just used ChatGPT

● Genuinely good with numbers — comfortable in spreadsheets, P&Ls;, and reconciling data across systems

● Comfortable with APIs, automation platforms (n8n or similar), and connecting systems that weren't built to talk to each other





● Hands-on experience with Claude Code and Hermes or similar agent orchestration platforms — building and shipping, not just chatting

● A builder's mindset — you'd rather ship something imperfect this week than plan something perfect next month, with low tolerance for manual, repetitive work

● Confident enough to walk into a business unit, understand how they work in a day, and tell them what to change

This business moves fast and doesn't do committees. You'll get a direct brief, a lot of trust, and no patience for over-explaining or slow rollouts. The right person here is precise and detail-driven but has enough drive to push a rollout through a team that's busy and set in their ways. You're here to build the thing, ship it, and move to the next one.
