About the Role
Ribs & Roast is looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely delivering chilled meat products to our customers across Sydney and surrounding areas while providing excellent customer service and representing our business professionally.
This is an early-start role that requires someone who is dependable, organised and takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a refrigerated delivery vehicle.
- Deliver chilled meat products to customers in accordance with scheduled delivery runs.
- Load and unload products safely, ensuring correct handling of refrigerated goods.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery where required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, presentable and compliant with food safety requirements.
- Follow all road rules, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and company policies.
- Maintain the cold chain throughout the delivery process.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties, order picking or other operational tasks when deliveries are completed.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence (HR licence advantageous but not essential).
- Has a clean driving record.
- Is reliable, punctual and committed to turning up every day.
- Has excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Can comfortably perform manual handling and lift up to 20–25kg.
- Takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.
- Works well independently while remaining a strong team player.
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in food distribution, refrigerated transport or delivery driving is desirable but not essential.
