About the role

Glen Smiles Dental is seeking an experienced and dedicated Dentist to join our team in Cranbourne, VIC. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality dental care to our diverse patient community. As a Dentist, you will play a central role in our practice, providing comprehensive oral healthcare services and contributing to the overall success and reputation of Glen Smiles Dental. What you'll be doing

- Conducting comprehensive dental examinations and diagnostics using contemporary clinical techniques and digital imaging technology

- Providing preventative, restorative and cosmetic dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges and root canal therapy

- Developing individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific oral health needs and preferences

- Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and best practice standards

- Educating patients about oral hygiene, preventative care and treatment options to promote long-term dental health

- Collaborating effectively with dental hygienists, dental assistants and other team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery

- Adhering to strict infection control protocols and maintaining a safe, hygienic clinical environment

- Staying current with advances in dental practice, continuing professional development and emerging treatment methodologies

- Contributing to the growth and positive culture of Glen Smiles Dental through professionalism and exceptional patient service

What we're looking for





- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent dental qualification recognised in Australia

- Current registration with the Australian Dental Council (ADC) and eligibility to register with relevant state dental boards

- Proven clinical experience as a practising dentist, ideally within a general practice setting

- Strong technical proficiency in restorative, preventative and diagnostic dental procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients from diverse backgrounds

- Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety and continuing professional development

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary dental team

- Strong organisational and time management capabilities in a busy clinical environment

- Current CPR certification and a valid driver's licence

- Preferred experience with digital dentistry technologies and patient management software systems
