Working Hours: Friday & Saturday - 2 days per week, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM approx (as the role grows, Thursday may be offered)
About Us: Melbourne Arancini is dedicated to crafting delicious, award-winning arancini. We’re looking for a passionate, friendly and reliable Shop Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Cooking & serving Arancini in a takeaway fast paced environment.
Assist with daily shop operations, including basic cooking, inventory management and order processing.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the shop.
Assist with content creation for social media, showcasing our products and brand.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role,
preferably in the food industry.
Robust customer service skills and a passion for good food.
Computer literate with valuable organisational skills.
Well-spoken and proficient in written English.
Punctual & reliable
Demonstrates strong initiatives
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced role
Current food handling certificate and a valid license.
Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow with our company.
Experience with HACCP is advantageous.
