About the Role

We are seeking an established, professional and motivated advisor who is ready to take ownership of client relationships within a growing financial organisation.

As a Strategic Advisor, you will take responsibility for an established client base, while also handling new referrals and opportunities, and work closely with our Strategic team to manage the end-to-end advice delivery process. You will play a key role in developing strategies that help clients build and protect their wealth, while coordinating comprehensive and tax-effective plans.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their personal and financial objectives.

- Provide comprehensive financial advice across areas including wealth creation, retirement planning, superannuation, investments, personal risk insurance, cash flow management, tax-effective strategies, and estate planning.

- Lead client meetings, including initial discovery meetings, strategy presentations, implementation discussions, and ongoing review meetings.

- Analyse clients’ financial circumstances and develop tailored strategies aligned with their goals, needs, and risk tolerance.

- Prepare, present and explain Statements of Advice (SOAs), Records of Advice (ROAs), and other client documentation.

- Work collaboratively with Strategic Associates,



Strategic Assistants and other teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

- Ensure all advice complies with relevant legislative, regulatory, and licensee requirements.

- Utilise XPLAN and other financial planning tools to manage client records, financial modelling and advice documentation.

- Stay current with changes in legislation, financial products, market conditions, and industry developments.

Requirements

- Experience providing financial advice within a financial planning, accounting, wealth management, or professional services environment.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Financial Planning, Commerce, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.

- Currently registered on ASIC’s Financial Advisers Register as a relevant provider, having fully met the professional standards requirements under the Corporations Act, including an approved qualification and the Financial Adviser Exam.

- Strong technical knowledge across superannuation, retirement planning, investments, insurance, tax-effective strategies, and estate planning.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting strategies and complex concepts in a clear and practical manner.

- Proficiency in XPLAN and Microsoft Office applications.

- A self-motivated, professional, and client-focused approach.

- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical conduct.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating initiative and accountability.
