With a renewed focus on delivering high-quality services and maintaining the community's valued parks, sporting grounds and public open spaces, we are seeking a passionate Senior Turf Maintenance Officer to join our Open Space team. This is an prospect to play a hands-on role in enhancing community assets while sharing your expertise and supporting the development of others.

As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of turf maintenance programs, provide guidance and mentoring to team members, and help ensure the City's parks, reserves and sporting facilities are maintained to a high standard for residents and visitors alike.

About the Role
Deliver high-quality turf maintenance across parks, reserves and sporting facilities to meet operational and community expectations.
Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to team members in turf management operations and protected work practices.
Assist with the planning and coordination of turf maintenance, renovation and irrigation activities.




Operate and maintain specialised turf equipment while supporting the upkeep of open spaces and recreational areas.

Role Requirements
Extensive experience in turf maintenance practices and the operation of associated plant and equipment.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor and support team members.
Certificate III in Horticulture or Turf Management, together with developed knowledge of best-practice turf management principles.
Current Manual HR Class Driver's Licence and relevant industry certifications, including Basic Worksite Traffic Management and First Aid.
