Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers for a busy timber mill in Fyshwick. This is an ongoing casual chance offering full-time hours (38 per week) with potential for long-term work for the right candidate.
About the Role:
Working within a fast-paced timber production environment, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of timber battens and assisting with general site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating a forklift to move timber products safely around site
Assisting with production line duties
Stacking, sorting and strapping timber
Manual handling and repetitive lifting
Maintaining a clean and safe work setting
Supporting yard and dispatch teams as required
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
Current Forklift Licence (essential)
Previous experience in a timber mill, manufacturing or heavy industrial workplace (highly regarded)
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
Reliable transport and strong work ethic
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
What's on Offer:
