We are looking for a casual salesperson to work flexible schedule Mon - Fri. The role will undertake phone sales & customer service from our Cornubia site & sales rep/merchandising visits around SEQ.
Responsibilities include:
In house phone sales for both retail & wholesale clients. Maximising sales & stocked range with existing client via rep/merchandising visits.
Co-ordinate the fulfilment of stock orders from receiving to delivery including assisting our dispatch department with pick list prep & quality sign off.
On the road rep working to increase range and sales in existing independent clients and calling on potential recent clients to introduce our range and services.
Implementing marketing and sales strategies to develop recent business.
Gather market research on the road and over the phone for new product & distributions.
Compile & distribute marketing material.
Merchandising in retail stores to display and maintain stock.
Assist with quality control procedures in our dispatch department.
Administration back up for admin, freight and marketing departments.
Core Skills Required
Previous sales experience required.
Intermediate computer use of excel, word, PowerPoint & social media is required for this position.
An understanding of databases would also be helpful.
An understanding of the fundamentals of marketing is highly regarded.
