About the Role:

A government facility on the Bellarine Peninsula is offering leadership opportunities in our Technical and Facilities Services team. We are seeking experienced and customer-focused leaders to oversee management of Technical and Facilities services across a complex portfolio. These roles will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, productive and cost-effective operation of building, infrastructure and grounds services, with a strong focus on technical and planned maintenance, contractor management, compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Manage the day-to-day facilities operations across the portfolio
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities
Manage contractors, vendors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to standard
Ensure compliance with WHS, statutory, legislative and policy requirements
Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, purchase order, invoicing and cost control
Conduct site inspections and manage any risks, defects or maintenance issues
Build robust relationships with contractors and stakeholders
Lead projects,



upgrades and lifecycle works as required
Maintain accurate records, reports, compliance documentation and maintenance schedules

Education, Qualification and Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in facilities management, technical building services, engineering or estate management within a complex operational environment.
Strong technical understanding across areas such as HVAC, electrical, fire systems, CCTV, Electronic Access control, grounds and buildings management
Experience managing contractors and planned/reactive maintenance programs
Solid knowledge of WHS, risk, compliance and statutory requirements
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
Strong financial and administrative capability, including budgets, project administration and reporting
Trade, engineering, facilities management, technologist or building services qualifications highly regarded
