Senior Exploration Geologist | WA Gold | 2:2 Roster

The Company
Our client is a growing WA-based gold exploration company advancing a strong portfolio of exploration and resource growth projects. This is a confidential search managed by MEE Recruitment.

The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist to provide senior technical leadership across geological interpretation, target generation and exploration program delivery. Reporting to the Exploration Manager, you'll lead the design, planning and execution of exploration programs to advance discovery opportunities, while mentoring junior geologists and managing exploration teams and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
Integrate geological, geochemical and geophysical datasets to identify, evaluate and prioritise exploration targets
Develop geological models and exploration concepts
Design and supervise mapping, geochemistry, AC, RC and diamond drilling programs
Manage logging, sampling, QAQC and data validation processes
Mentor and develop geologists and field personnel




Manage relationships with contractors, service providers and other stakeholders
Prepare technical reports, plans and presentations

About You
8+ years' experience in gold exploration or a similar workplace
Robust experience in orogenic and greenstone-hosted gold systems
Demonstrated experience in geological interpretation, target generation and exploration planning
Proven track record designing and delivering exploration programs (mapping, geochem, AC/RC/diamond drilling)
Experience supervising exploration teams and contractors in remote environments
Proficiency in Micromine, QGIS and ioGAS
Tertiary qualification in Geology (Honours preferred)
Current C Class (Manual) driver's licence, Senior First Aid, and Defensive 4WD certificate
