Our client is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to support a six-month project focused on reviewing, updating and standardising technical drawings across a portfolio of approximately 30 facilities.
Working independently, you will be responsible for converting legacy Public Works drawings into a new drawing standard and producing accurate Works As Executed (WAE) documentation for inclusion within Operations & Maintenance manuals.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented AutoCAD professional who enjoys project-based work and takes pride in producing high-quality, accurate technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret existing Public Works drawings and documentation
Convert and redraw legacy drawings to align with current drafting standards
Produce accurate Works As Executed (WAE) drawings for O&M; manuals
Ensure consistency and accuracy across drawings for approximately 30 buildings
Maintain drawing registers and project documentation
Work autonomously to deliver project outcomes within established timeframes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience as a CAD Drafter, Draftsperson or AutoCAD Technician
Strong AutoCAD proficiency and technical drafting capability
Ability to interpret existing drawings and replicate drawing standards accurately
High attention to detail and commitment to quality documentation
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your workload independently
Experience within engineering, manufacturing, utilities, construction, infrastructure or building services environments will be highly regarded
