Key Responsibilities and skills:
Assembly of components including soldering (PTH & SMT) and systems accurately to engineering specifications and work instructions
Assembly & testing of wire harnesses
Can use multi-meters & oscilloscopes
Conducting functional and quality tests to ensure product meets standards
Operating hand tools, power tools and testing equipment in a secure and effective manner
Fault finding - evaluate & trouble shoot broken parts, bad solder joints or incorrect wiring
Excellent Soldering Skills
Confident in repair & rework if required to do so.
Maintaining accurate records of build data, test results, faults and identify any non-conformances
Proven knowledge of mechanical drawings and schematic interpretation.
Testing systems - Run diagnostic tests on circuit boards, sub-assemblies and final products
Experience with SMT Manufacturing highly desirable
Robust problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively to achieve production targets and resolve production challenges
Excellent communication, organisational skills and computer skills
High attention to detail and a proactive solution focused mindset.
Able to talk to clients if necessary
Store work - Book in deliveries, kitting components, packing and sending goods.
Must have at least 10 years' experience
