After-Hours Medical Facility Cleaner (casual)

Position: After-Hours Medical Facility Cleaner Location: Adelaide, South Australia Hours: 5 hours per day

(Monday to Friday, after business hours) Employment Type: Part time About the Role We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Medical Facility Cleaner to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe healthcare setting.

This position involves cleaning medical consulting rooms, treatment areas, reception, staff facilities, and amenities after business hours to meet strict infection prevention and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities - Clean and disinfect consulting rooms, treatment rooms, waiting areas, and reception. - Vacuum and mop all floors. - Clean and sanitise bathrooms and staff amenities. - Empty rubbish and clinical waste bins (following site procedures). - Clean glass, doors, and touch points. - Dust and wipe furniture, desks, and fixtures. - Restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. -

Follow infection control procedures and safe chemical handling practices. - Lock and secure the premises upon completion. - Report maintenance issues or hazards to management.



Essential Requirements - Previous commercial or medical cleaning experience preferred. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong attention to detail. - Reliable and punctual. - Valuable communication skills. - Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one). - Valid driver's licence and reliable transport. - Full working rights in Australia. Desirable - Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures. - Experience cleaning medical centres, dental clinics, or allied health facilities. -

Understanding of colour-coded cleaning systems. - Knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
