Floor Finisher is a skilled tradesperson responsible for preparing, finishing, and protecting floor surfaces to achieve a durable, protected, and high-quality final appearance. The role involves working with a variety of materials across residential, commercial, and civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare floor surfaces by cleaning, grinding, levelling, and repairing substrates
Apply floor finishes such as concrete polishing, epoxy coatings, sealers, vinyl, timber, tiles, or carpets (depending on project scope)
Mix and apply compounds, adhesives, coatings, and sealants to manufacturer specifications
Operate tools and equipment including grinders, polishers, trowels, and screeding tools
Ensure finished floors meet quality, safety, and design requirements
Follow site safety procedures, SWMS, and PPE requirements
Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines
Inspect completed work and carry out touch-ups or repairs as required
