Sacca’s Fine Foods is growing! As we prepare to open our state-of-the-art new store in the Northern suburbs, we’re looking for a qualified and experienced Butcher to help bring our new concept to life.

About the Role:
Initially, this position will be consultative (2–3 days per week) to support store setup, transitioning into a full time role closer to our grand opening (targeting mid-April to May). You’ll play a key role in launching and operating the butchery section, ensuring high-quality products and an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and support the launch of the butchery department
Deliver consistently high-quality cuts and meat presentation
Maintain full compliance with OH&S; and HACCP standards
Drive sales growth through exceptional service and product innovation
Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace
Provide excellent customer service and advice
Uphold the Sacca’s Fine Foods reputation for quality and professionalism

About You:




Trade qualified butcher with solid industry experience
Proven ability to work independently and within a team
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Well-presented, punctual, and professional
Motivated, reliable, and forward-thinking
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Available to work weekends
Previous experience with new store openings is highly regarded
