Love pulling things apart to see how they work? Even better at putting them back together?
We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who's just as comfortable behind CAD software as they are in the workshop. Someone who's naturally curious, enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges, and gets excited by designing, testing, refining and improving products from concept through to production.
This isn't a role where your designs stay on the screen. You'll work closely with prototypes, production teams, suppliers and customers to bring cutting-edge products to life and continuously improve existing designs.
What you'll be doing
Design and develop mechanical products and components using SolidWorks.
Build, test, modify and refine prototypes through hands-on engineering.
Pull products apart, understand how they work, and engineer smarter, stronger and more efficient solutions.
Take projects from concept through design, validation, manufacture and launch.
Work alongside production, quality, procurement and suppliers to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable and commercially viable.
Investigate product issues, identify root causes and implement engineering improvements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, quality and reliability.
We're looking for someone who
Has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory)
Enjoys both technical design work and getting hands-on with products and vehicles.
Thinks like a problem solver and loves figuring out how things work.
Has proven and proficient experience with CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
Can balance creativity with practical engineering solutions.
Communicates well and enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams.
CPEng and RPEQ accreditation or eligibility (mandatory)
Thrives in a quick-paced manufacturing workplace where no two days are the same.
Why you'll love it here
You'll have the opportunity to work on products you can actually see, touch and improve. From concept to production, you'll play a key role in creating innovative engineering solutions while working with a team that's passionate about building great products.
If you're the type of engineer who can't walk past a machine without wondering how it works—or how it could work better—we'd love to hear from you.
