Our client is a well-established engineering company based in Henderson, supporting the marine, mining, energy and industrial sectors across Western Australia. They are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant / Yardhand to join their workshop team based in Henderson.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and is looking for a long-term prospect.
About the Role:
General yard and workshop duties
Loading and unloading materials
Assisting tradespeople with daily tasks
Forklift operation
Local deliveries as required
Manual handling and keeping the yard organised
What's on Offer?
$40-$45 per hour (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm
Overtime available
Casual role with the intention of permanent employment for the right person
Immediate start available
To Be Considered You Will Have:
Previous experience in a Trade Assistant, Yardhand or similar role
HR Driver's Licence (essential)
Forklift Licence (essential)
Construction White Card (highly regarded)
Robust work ethic and reliable attendance
Physically fit and capable of manual work
Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical/drug & alcohol test
National police check or willing to obtain
