Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with McCorkell Constructions, is proud to support the Women in Trades initiative by offering a female apprenticeship prospect within the construction industry.
Based in Sunbury, this apprenticeship will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to contribute to the construction of the Kangan Institute TAFE building while gaining valuable, hands-on industry experience.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be exposed to a broad range of construction activities and develop practical skills across multiple areas of the trade. Upon successful completion, you will attain a Certificate III in Carpentry, providing a strong foundation for a rewarding career in the construction industry.
The successful applicant will:
Demonstrate a keen interest in working in the building and construction trade.
Have a Victorian driver’s licence and reliable transport
Have a White Card/Construction Card or ability to obtain
High Risk Work Card or ability to obtain
Be prepared to undertake Police Check
Hold a valid Working with Children’s Check or ability to obtain
Have the ability to work with hand and power tools
Work well with a team
Demonstrate protected working practices
