An prospect exists at our Doctors at Southport Park practice, for a friendly, skilled and dedicated medical receptionist to join our team.

We're looking for someone on a casual basis, approx.16 hours per week, plus a Sunday shift approx. every 3 weeks, along with annual leave and sick leave cover.

What we are looking for:

· Robust customer service skills

· Good organisational skills

· Superior multi-tasking skills and

· Confident computer skills.

Experience in a similar role within general practice is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

· General front desk & administration duties

· Handling of incoming calls

· Delivery of premium customer service to our patients and clinicians alike

· Booking of GP and Allied Health appointments

· Receipting of Medicare,



HICAPS & some private billings

Demonstrated skills include:

• Experience with Best Practice (preferred)

• Experience in administration within a busy GP surgery (preferred)

• Strong communication skills

• Able to work under pressure

• Excellent time management & organisational skills

• Excellent customer service

• Friendly and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
