About the prospect:
At Fairfield Grange, you’ll enjoy a peaceful Idalia setting in the heart of Townsville with nearby parklands and a warm, community-focused atmosphere. In this position you will be assisting in the provision of high-quality fresh meals to the residents of the facility, in support of maintaining their quality of life.

This role requires availability Wednesday to Sunday between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Your day-to-day will involve:
Assist the Chef and other staff in the preparation of high-quality, fresh meals that meet residents’ dietary requirements and personal preferences
Provide assistance to Support Services staff in meal service to residents
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and always adhere to food safety and hygiene standards

About you:
Experience in commercial food preparation
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Knowledge of Food Safety and Workplace Health and Safety standards relevant to Aged Care
A compassionate, resident-focused approach




Previous experience in Aged Care industry is desirable
