As a Senior Flooding Engineer, your impact will be within our Victorian operations. The Flooding team delivers a wide variety of projects from small scale impact assessment to catchment wide mapping studies. Some of the focus areas include hydrologic analysis (catchment rainfall / runoff mainly using RORB) and hydraulic (1D and 2D) flood modelling (mainly using TUFLOW); flood risk and impact assessment; flood emergency response; dam break analysis and development of flood overlays for Planning Schemes.

You will be responsible for:
Developing and reviewing hydraulic, hydrological models and calculations for application in flood studies, flood impact assessments and flood management plans.
Managing a range of large government and private sector flood mapping projects projects involving direct client liaison, attending meetings, preparation of progress updates and data collation.
Leading, mentoring and teaching graduate and engineer level team members as they work on your projects.
Preparing and reviewing technical reports.
