Casual Nursery Hand – Aquatic Plant Nursery (Approx. 32 Hours/Week)

Location: Beerwah, QLD

Suncoast Water Gardens is one of Australia’s leading aquatic plant nurseries, specialising in the production of water lilies, lotus, marginal plants and other aquatic plants supplied to retail and wholesale customers across Australia.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Casual Nursery Hand to join our friendly team for approximately 32 hours per week. This is a hands-on outdoor position suited to someone who enjoys working with plants and isn’t afraid of physical work.

Key Responsibilities:
Potting, planting and maintaining a wide variety of aquatic plants
Dividing and propagating water lilies, lotus and other aquatic species
Watering, fertilising and monitoring plant health
Weeding, cleaning and general nursery maintenance
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
Assisting with stock movement and maintaining a tidy, protected work environment
Working efficiently both independently and as part of the nursery team





About You:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Physically fit and able to perform manual work outdoors in all weather conditions
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail
Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
Previous nursery, horticulture or farming experience
As public transport is limited, applicants must have their own reliable vehicle
