About the role

Ameya Care Support Services is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team in Innisfail.

As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to our participants.

What you'll be doing
Assisting participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
Accompanying participants to appointments, social activities, and community events
Providing emotional support and encouragement to participants
Documenting participants progress and any relevant incidents or concerns
Adhering to all organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar role, supporting individuals with disabilities or complex needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Current First Aid and CPR certification




A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
