CPJ LANDSCAPES PTY LTD is a well-established landscaping and outdoor construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial landscaping projects throughout the Sydney metropolitan area. We specialise in landscape construction, timber structures, retaining walls, decking, pergolas, fencing, and other outdoor building works. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Constructing, installing and repairing timber structures including decks, pergolas, gazebos, fences and retaining walls.

· Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans and specifications.

· Measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling timber and other building materials.

· Installing structural framing, flooring, wall and roof components where required.

· Constructing formwork and timber structures for landscape construction projects.

· Operating hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.

· Ensuring all work complies with relevant Australian Standards, building regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.





· Estimate material quantities and select appropriate timber, hardware and construction materials for each project.

· Inspecting completed work to ensure quality workmanship and project specifications are met.

· Coordinating with supervisors, landscapers and other trades to complete projects within scheduled timeframes.

· Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, protected work setting.

Skills and Experience

· A Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification; or at least three years of relevant full-time work experience where no formal qualification is held.

· Demonstrated experience in residential or commercial carpentry.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

· Solid knowledge of carpentry techniques, building materials and safe work practices.

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· A current driver's licence is required.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
