Pay Rate: $42.32 + allowances

Now Careers are seeking experienced and reliable Civil Labourers to join a specialist infrastructure project based in Circular Quay. This unique chance involves working on a heritage-listed site carrying out piling and excavation works around sandstone culverts and tunnel structures.

About the Role
You will be working as part of a team undertaking civil construction and remediation works within and around tunnel environments. Duties will include:
Hand excavation around existing sandstone culverts and structures
Assisting with piling operations
Working within and around tunnel environments
General civil labouring duties
Use of hand and power tools
Assisting with site preparation and clean-up
Working safely in a heritage-listed environment
Adhering to strict environmental and safety requirements due to tidal influences and site conditions

Essential Requirements




Previous civil construction or labouring experience
Current Construction White Card
Working at Heights Ticket (within 2 years)
Confined Space Ticket (within 2 years)
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Solid commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Punctual attendance
Comfortable working on a harness

Highly Desirable
Experience working around excavation, piling, tunnelling, or infrastructure projects
Experience working within tunnel environments
Experience on heritage or sensitive construction sites
