As the Head of Quality at our manufacturing facility in Moorabool, Victoria, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This permanent, full time position requires a seasoned professional who can lead quality assurance initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of excellence within the organisation. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for delivering superior products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess product quality and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Analyse quality data and metrics to drive decision-making and enhance product quality.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector.
Proven track record of leading quality assurance teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies, such as ISO 9001.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
