Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Executive Team, this role will translate scientific excellence into impact at scale, ensuring the sector’s people, infrastructure, partnerships and programs deliver outcomes that benefit Australia and the world.
The successful candidate will be an exceptional senior executive and science leader, with a track record of leading large, complex, mission‑driven organisations. They will bring deep experience translating research into real‑world outcomes, solid strategic and financial capability, and the ability to build influential partnerships across government, industry and academia.
A leadership style grounded in integrity, collaboration and purpose, combined with the ability to operate at the highest levels of government and research, will be essential to success in this role.
