About Us:
Sacca’s Fine Foods is a rapid-growing, family-owned business known for providing fresh, high-quality produce and exceptional service to the community. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Fresh Produce Assistant to join our dedicated team at our Plenty Valley store.

About the Role:
As a Fresh Produce Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our fresh produce, while delivering outstanding service to our customers. You’ll be working in a hands-on, fast-paced setting where attention to detail, food handling standards, and teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers with product inquiries and provide excellent service
Cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh fruits and vegetables
Monitor product quality and perform regular quality control checks
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the produce area
Minimize product waste and assist with shrinkage control
Process customer sales using POS systems
Support other store departments as needed

What We’re Looking For:




Previous experience in a fresh produce, supermarket, or greengrocer environment is highly regarded
Solid customer service skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a physically active role
Good attention to detail and commitment to food safety
Willingness to learn and assist across multiple departments
Availability for early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
