The Plough and Harrow Hotel is one of the busiest pubs located in Camden. We are looking for a full time chef to join our dynamic team.

As a Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. You will work with seasonal produce, prepare high-quality dishes, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.

We are looking for:
Experience in cooking and managing kitchen operations.
Excellent multitasking skills and a team-oriented mindset to contribute positively to the business.
Passion for food and beverages with a keen eye for detail.
Understanding of Australian food safety and hygiene standards.
Commitment to ensuring the freshness and quality of ingredients.
Proficiency in food stock management, waste reduction, and daily temperature checks for refrigerators and freezers.
Ability to serve food at the correct temperature consistently.

Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of food preparation,



from sourcing ingredients to cooking and plating dishes
Ensure foods are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation
Menu planning
Stock take and stock order as required
Ensure food safety and hygiene
Assist the head chef in preparing rosters
Assist in hiring recent kitchen staff and training them
Analyse feedback and make improvements to the menu or kitchen operations

Qualification and Experience
Minimum qualification: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management
At least one year of experience in a similar role is highly regarded.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $79,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
