We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join our growing Business Services team.
In this client-facing role, you will manage a portfolio of business clients, provide taxation and business advisory services, review the work of junior team members, and build strong, long-term client relationships. This is an excellent prospect for an experienced public practice accountant ready to take ownership of a portfolio and play a key role in delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a client portfolio with an average value of $5 million
Manage approximately $500,000 in annual fees
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
Deliver tax planning and business advisory services
Manage client relationships and provide proactive advice
Review and mentor junior accountants
Liaise with the ATO and ensure compliance with Australian taxation legislation
Manage workflow, budgets and project deadlines
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce (Accounting major)
Completed CA/CPA, or 80%+ completion will be considered
4+ years' experience in Australian public accounting
Experience managing a client portfolio
Solid knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards
Experience with Xero and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
