About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands the way Australians speak? We're looking for skilled voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Australian accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.

This is a short-term contract role with competitive hourly pay. Your voice won't be cloned — you'll be helping AI systems learn to understand real, natural human speech.

Format: In-person skilled recording studio (locally assigned in Australia)
Commitment: 2–3 sessions of 4 hours each

What You'll Do
Record natural, conversational Australian English speech in a professional studio setting
Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue recordings
Deliver realistic, human-sounding dialogue that feels unscripted and authentic
Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery as needed
Bring your qualified performance instincts to create genuinely engaging recordings

Who You Are




A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with proven experience
A native or near-native Australian English speaker with an authentic accent
Currently based in Australia
Comfortable recording natural conversations and dialogue — not just scripted reads
Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
Fluent in English at a working level for communication and direction

Nice to Have
Acting or performance background
Prior experience in broadcast, podcast, or professional studio recording
Comfort with improvised or conversational delivery styles
