The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Future Generation Joint Venture on behalf of SC Hydro Pty Ltd is currently recruiting for Camp Maintenance – Refrigeration positions on the Snowy 2.0 Project in the Snowy Monaro region. The project is working a 14:7 roster, with shifts which may include days/nights rotating.
The successful candidate will have experience:
Installing and repairing split systems
Air conditioner Bag cleans
Cool room/reefer maintenance
Servicing and repairing Refrigeration appliances
Planned maintenance, filter cleans etc
Servicing and repairing underground Air conditioners
Assisting other trades
Working from EWP and scaffolding
You must currently hold the following tickets/licences:
Driver’s licence
Refrigeration License
General Construction Induction training (white card)
Right to work in Australia
High risk work licence – advantageous
Working at Heights – advantageous
Confined Space – advantageous
Be able to pass a criminal history check and a medical
The employment relationship will be governed by Australia or Recent Zealand Employment Law.
These positions are in remote challenging areas with extreme cold temperatures which need to be considered before applying for these roles.
