Position: Retail Manager

Position type: Full time 38 hours per week

Salary: $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

Our client, Saltwater Industries, located in Nerang, is seeking to employ an experienced Retail Manager to oversee and manage its day-to-day operations.

Saltwater Industries supplies high-quality pool and spa equipment, accessories, replacement cells and complete systems for pools and spas across Australia. The role requires robust leadership and operational management skills to oversee daily retail operations, maintain high customer service standards, and achieve sales and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the store's product range, inventory levels, and customer service standards to ensure productive daily operations.
Develop and implement purchasing, merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
Coordinate marketing and promotional activities, including in-store campaigns and advertising initiatives.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers, promoting products, and offering expert product advice.




Monitor stock levels, oversee inventory control, and maintain accurate records of stock movements and financial transactions.
Prepare and manage store budgets, monitor expenditure, and contribute to achieving financial performance targets.
Recruit, train, supervise, and support team members to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.
Ensure the store complies with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies, and relevant legislative obligations.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring productive workflows and achievement of sales and operational objectives.
Analyse sales performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall store performance.

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
Experience with Xero (preferred)
Experience using AI tools (preferred)
Experience using Microsoft Office (preferred)

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
