Forever Care Disability Services is seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced Female Disability Support Worker (aged 50+) to provide one-on-one support to a female participant with a psychosocial disability in Guildford.
This is a rewarding chance to support a friendly participant in her home and community while promoting her independence and wellbeing.
Support Schedule
Monday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Thursday: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
Domestic assistance, including cleaning and general household tasks
Meal preparation as required
Community access and social support
Grocery shopping and other essential errands
Providing person-centred support in accordance with the participant's goals and support plan
Encouraging independence while maintaining a secure and supportive setting
Essential Requirements
Female Support Worker aged 50 years or older (participant preference)
Demonstrated experience supporting people living with psychosocial disability and mental illness
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient and reliable approach
Ability to work independently and follow support plans
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Current Australian Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
Pay: $36.56 per hour
