We are seeking an Experience Design Manager to lead transformative initiatives within the Enterprise Performance Group, enhancing service experiences across the University of Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic design operations and set guidelines for experience design.
Oversee human‑centred design practices, including user journey management.
Develop and govern experience design initiatives such as service blueprints, journey maps and digital experience principles.
Provide leadership advice and drive capability uplift across the University.
Qualifications & Requirements
Extensive experience as a design leader in experience or service design.
Robust background in user research, interaction design and journey mapping.
Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills with a systems‑thinking approach.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams and facilitating workshops.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
Growth mindset, empathy,
curiosity and resilience.
Employment Conditions
Full‑time, Salary: UOM10 – $156,480p.a. (pro‑rata for part‑time) plus 17% super. Flexible hybrid work environment. Visa sponsorship not available; requires current valid work rights for Australia.
The successful candidate must hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC). If not, the WWCC will be issued during onboarding.
