We are hiring a senior barber for our flagship at 31 George St, The Rocks.
Permanent full time.
Base salary $80,000 plus 12% superannuation, paid weekly.
This is not an entry level chair.
The Rocks runs back to back with corporate, qualified and high spend tourist clientele who expect technical precision and a consistent finish every time.
What we need from you
Certificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering, or a recognised overseas equivalent.
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in barbering specifically.
Demonstrated technical proficiency in:
Skin fades, mid fades, low and high fades, executed clean and consistent
Scissor over comb classic cuts
Clipper over comb work
Beard sculpting and beard trimming
Hot towel straight razor shaves
Traditional grooming and barbering techniques
Proven ability to hold a 30 to 45 minute service window in a fully booked back to back environment without dropping quality.
Experience servicing premium and corporate clientele in a high end barbershop setting.
Strong verbal English.
Qualified presentation.
Reliable attendance non negotiable.

Cutting and grooming on the floor at 31 George St, The Rocks.
Maintaining station hygiene and tool sterilisation to NSW Health standards.
Upholding UPTOWN brand standards on every single service.
Contributing to a professional, drama free senior team.
What we offer
