Senior Administrative Officer 2 - Remuneration Package $179,451 - $195,425 (including salary $152,751 - $166,487)
The Director Central Australian Parks is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic management and operation of parks and reserves across Central Australia.
The position provides high-level advice on park management, conservation and visitor experience outcomes, leads regional operations, and fosters robust partnerships with Traditional Owners, Aboriginal organisations, communities and key stakeholders.
As a member of the Parks and Wildlife Executive Leadership Team and Departmental Leadership Group, the role contributes to broader divisional and departmental priorities while leading the delivery of conservation, recreation and joint management outcomes across the region.
The Director may be required to travel to regional centres and remote parks on occasion.
