Schaper Concrete & Construction is a growing, family owned business that specialises in remote concrete, earthworks and road freight. We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head Mechanic/Workshop Manager to head up our team. The successful applicant will be suitably qualified and experienced in managing a large and diverse fleet of road freight vehicles and plant and equipment.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Maintenance of a large fleet of road trains, earth moving equipment and concreting equipment: diagnosis & repair, ordering parts,



coordinating servicing and maintenance schedules
Accurate record keeping, including compliance with safety standards.
Lead and manage a small team, training and supervision of apprentices and trainees
Managing road train drivers, providing operational support, scheduling servicing and repairs

Requirements:
Current and valid NT drivers license – HR
Heavy diesel mechanic qualification
Experience in working with road trains
