Salary Package: $70,609 (HEW 3.1) per annum, plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
Two Full time, fixed term 12-month program roles
Based at Macquarie University (North Ryde)

The Role

We are seeking two enthusiastic individuals passionate about clinical trials. Be part of our Clinical Trials Trainee Program and get the prospect to work with a world class Clinical Trials team in a supportive environment to do meaningful work whilst learning valuable skills and being exposed to all aspects of implementing Clinical Trials.

The structured program will run for 12 months including rotations with the clinical teams, start up team, quality assurance and laboratory teams of a busy clinical trials unit.



The trainee will gain Positive Clinical Practice and IATA accreditation and basic skills for an entry level position in clinical trials.

Responsibilities
Communicating with trial participants and investigators
Collecting and accurately filing documents to maintain a clinical trial investigator site file
Submitting documents for Ethics review e.g. trial annual reports or trial amendments
Drafting preliminary budgets for a clinical trial based on a protocol schedule of events
Processing and shipping clinical trial samples to a central lab
