The Chance

Our client is a large and complex ASX-listed organisation seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team. This role will partner closely with senior stakeholders across their Operations division. The Finance Business Partner will play a key part in improving financial performance, identifying cost efficiencies and providing commercial advice across a broad operational portfolio.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Head of Finance - Operations, some of your key responsibilities will include:
Lead financial analysis and scenario modelling for key business initiatives, procurement activities, capital expenditure and optimisation projects
Partner with stakeholders to assess expenditure against budgets and forecasts challenging assumptions and identifying cost-effective opportunities




Prepare and review monthly management reporting, commentary and ad-hoc analysis to support with decision-making
Build robust relationships with senior operational stakeholders, providing strategic commercial advice and driving continuous improvement initiatives

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
CA/CPA qualified with a minimum of 6 years’ experience
Proven industry experience working in a large, complex corporate organisation
Experience preparing business cases, scenario analysis and financial models
Exposure to pricing analysis and contract renewals would be advantageous
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Solid organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple portfolios and projects concurrently
