Summary:

We are seeking an entry-level Zoologist to join our team in Dalby, Queensland. In this full time role, you will assist in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards




Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation
Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
