Your Recent Prospect:
You'll lead a large, established team of supervisors, leading hands, boilermakers and welders, with a direct line to the owner. No layers between you and the decisions.
Own production scheduling, labour planning and workshop capacity end to end
Drive weld quality and compliance to AS/NZS 1554, AS 4100 and ISO 3834
Lead daily production meetings and set the quality standard the whole floor works to
Develop your supervisors and tradespeople into the next generation of leaders
Build the Lean systems that let the workshop scale with the business
To Ensure Your Success:
You are a Trade Qualified Boilermaker and a natural leader
You will bring demonstrated experience across steel fabrication, manufacturing or heavy industry
Welding Supervisor or Welding Inspection qualification (AS2214 or AS1796)
Working knowledge of AS5131 and Lean Manufacturing
Be calm, decisive and be hands-on providing support to staff when needed
