The Youth Support Worker plays a vital role in delivering culturally protected, community-led programs that promote the wellbeing, leadership, and development of young people in Maningrida. Working alongside the Youth Coordinator and under the guidance of the Bininj Coordinator, this position supports the day-to-day operations of the Youth Centre and the delivery of activities that build confidence, connection, and life skills among local youth. This is a designated role for a Bininj person from Maningrida and is central to ensuring Nja-marléya’s youth programs remain grounded in local knowledge, culture, and values.
