Job Description

The Anna Centre is seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our growing team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide counselling and psychosocial support to individuals across EAP and wellbeing programs. This position does not involve Medicare-rebatable services.

You will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary setting with strong administrative systems, allowing you to focus on client care and outcomes.

Key responsibilities
Deliver individual counselling and psychosocial support
Conduct comprehensive client intakes and assessments
Develop, implement and review client support plans
Deliver evidence-based counselling interventions
Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as required
Prepare accurate and timely clinical notes and reports
Communicate effectively with referrers and internal stakeholders
Maintain compliant client records in line with legislation and policy
Participate in service delivery, program development and quality improvement initiatives

About the Candidate




Relevant qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification counselling experience
Demonstrated experience delivering counselling interventions in a professional setting
Strong communication, documentation and report-writing skills
Good organisational and time-management capability
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Commitment to ethical, culturally secure and client-centred practice

Work Environment
Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 + super
