Technical Sales Representative QLD - Industrial
Brisbane, QLD A leading global filtration and separation manufacturer is looking to bring on a Technical Sales Engineer to support their industrial division across Queensland.
This is a hands-on technical sales role, focused on growing business across food and beverage, milling, life science and pharmaceutical markets. You will build on an established network of contacts and drive new business across the territory.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts across Queensland, working closely with existing and current customers to drive product awareness and sales growth.
Responsibilities include
Growing business across food & beverage, life science and pharmaceutical markets
Forging and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts in existing and new accounts
Driving new business development across the territory
Promoting product awareness and technical solutions to customers
Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close
Travelling within the Queensland territory as required
Acting as the technical point of contact for customer queries and product solutions
About You
This role will suit a driven, technically minded salesperson who enjoys building relationships and winning new business in a technical, industrial environment.
Strong sales background, with a proven ability to drive current business and build relationships
Filtration experience preferred, though experience selling technical products or equipment such as pumps, valves or engineered products will be considered
A hunter mentality, with a genuine can-do attitude
Robust mechanical or chemical aptitude highly regarded
Ideal background includes product sales experience into the industrial sector, providing filtration or rotating equipment to customers
Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
Ability to travel within the territory when required
